gthumb-dbg software package provides image viewer and browser - debugging symbols, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gthumb-dbg
gthumb-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gthumb-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gthumb-dbg *
You will get with gthumb-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
